August 2026 prediction

The first decade of the month is expected to be relatively peaceful. There will be many interesting phenomena in the August sky: the comet, the eclipse season, the conjunction of Mercury with other planets.

Comet 10P/Tempel

On August 3, Comet Tempel (from the Jupiter family) will come very close to Earth and reach its peak brightness; you can look at it through a telescope. Comets are usually harbingers of dramatic events, but there are no signs of tension in early August. All the active giant planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are now in very favorable relationships.

Eclipse Season

• On August 10, the Moon will come close to Earth before a total solar eclipse. These days, Proserpine completes the retrograde cycle, Venus opposes Neptune, and Mercury opposes Pluto, so natural disasters are possible that change the appearance of the landscape. If you live in dangerous areas, then you need to take precautions.
   
• August 12 - total solar eclipse, which will be seen only by residents of Greenland and Spain.
   
• At the end of the month, Mercury and Sun pass through the southern lunar node. On August 27, they will be close just before the lunar eclipse and form a dangerous quadrature to Uranus. In terms of information and technology, these are busy days: disruptions in telecommunications networks, equipment breakdowns, and shutdowns of production facilities are expected.

World situation

From August 7, Mercury (planet of information) forms an opposition to Pluto (the planet of crisis), so the difficult political and economic situation will be actively discussed due to the recent events and anti-Russian sanctions.

On August 15, Mercury will meet Jupiter (a planet of great reach) and further intensify their opposition to Pluto. This is a powerful transit, so I expect a peak in political confrontation when some countries declare their tough stance on participating in international alliances. Obviously, a document will be published that affects the world order (global bans, blockages of territories and waters of global importance).

On August 11-22, Mars (the planet of war) forms a quadrature to Neptune (the planet of illusions and water resources). This aspect increases the tension on the sea lanes, and also creates a feeling of "blind war" when guns hit targets indiscriminately. 17-18 are the most dangerous days in terms of accidents and military operations.

Since August 28, Mars will form a quadrature to Saturn, - this is an indicator of a targeted war that will continue in September and, unfortunately, will last until the end of 2026.
